NHM employees call on Minister, highlight demands | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 26: A delegation of National Health Mission (NHM) employees today called on Minister of State for Health, Aasiya Naqash, here, and apprised her about their long pending grievances. According to spokesperson, the delegation comprising representatives from all categories of the employees, apprised the minister regarding their long pending demands including regularisation of services, removal of salary disparity, allotment of provident fund and mediclaim benefits apart from other professional and social security measures. Responding to the delegation, the Minister assured that all the issues will be dealt with in the upcoming annual plan being sent to the Government of India. She also assured the employees that she will also raise the issue with the concerned quarters for their regularization. Later the employee representatives also met with Mission Director, NHM, Dr Mohan Singh and submitted him a charter of demands. Mission Director, NHM Dr Singh also assured to redress the same during the framing of next year's Programme Implementation Plan (PIP)". |
