Stephens organizes parent orientation program 1/23/2016 10:32:20 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 23 : Stephens International Public School today organized an "Orientation Program for Parents" of children who are studying in primary segment. Orientation programs are fantastic opportunities for parents to know what to expect in the coming year and also equip them for it. The key points discussed in orientation programme were related to healthy parenting, curriculum discussion, boosting the children to be independent, encouraging him for self study habit and not going for tuition classes. The program was divided into two sessions which were taken up by headmistress Jyotica Shafaat. She laid emphasis to encourage their children to read books. This will go a long way in developing good communication skills and language skills. A session of cross question was also held where parents came up with their problems. It was highly appreciated by the school management.
