| Jammu, Jan 23 : A day after the seizure of vehicles by Vigilance Organization, the PRO of ex-deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand, Kewal Sharma and his family including his wife , son and their servant were booked on the charges of assaulting a Vigilance Inspector. As per reports, Inspector Inderjeet Singh, along with Inspector Tahir went to the Kewal Sharma's residence. While Inderjeet was on recce, he was called inside the house by Kewal Sharma where he allegedly assaulted him on gun point. His wife, son and their servant too joined him. The matter was brought into the notice of the Domana Police by Inspector Tahir and Inspector Inderjeet was rescued. Later State Vigilance Organization lodged FIR against the Kewal and his family at Domana Police Station. Based on the complaint, Police booked them under sections 3/25, 504, 506 ,353, 342 RPC. |
