PHQ amends order to accommodate influential DySP 1/23/2016 11:57:37 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, Jan 23: A powerful Deputy Superintendent of Police of J&K police has managed to get the order of his posting amended in just a few hours after it was issued. Though he was not given his choice posting, he managed to get the place of his posting changed to another lucrative one. The said Dy SP who was posted in Jammu got to know that the Police head quarter was likely to issue posting orders of DySPs on Friday. He also got to know that he was being posted to a peripheral district and his wing was also being changed. He immediately got into action and got the senior officers of the PHQ pressurized to get the proposal of transfers amended, using his contacts with politicians and some other senior officers of Police. While the news of his transfer to a peripheral district was abuzz, others in the list were astounded to discover that the influential DySP had been retained in Jammu. Though he could not get the posting of his choice, but he also did not accept the posting that he was being given. Such is the influence of the said Dy SP that he got the entire posting order on his whatsapp before it was actually published.
