Early Times Report JAMMU, Jan 23: The J&K Freedom Fighters' Association (JKFFA) held a function to celebrate the 119th Birth Anniversary of Netaji Subash Chandra Bose, at Netaji Park Town Hall, Jammu. The function was organized by the President of the Association Ved Gandotra and Harsh Dev Singh President JKNPP was the Chief Guest. National flag was hoisted followed by singing of National Anthem on the occasion and floral tributes were paid to the great Martyr with garlanding of the statue of Netaji. The children of New Modern School Upper Gummat, Jammu sang the National Anthem with National Flags waving in their hands. Later sweets were distributed among the participants. The speakers threw light on the life history of Netaji and said that he was born a patriot and whole of his life and his struggled for the freedom of the mother-land. They added that in young age he left his home and visited every corner of the world to garner support to his freedom struggle and further said that Neta Ji framed a full fladged Army of the Indian Youth under the name as "INDIAN NATIONAL ARMY" to fight the British forces. Among others who participated were Rajiv Mahajan (State President, Shri Ram Sena), Parbhat Kaphi, S.Rajinder Singh, Gurbachan Singh, Raj Rani, Narayan, Hari Singh, Bansi Lal, Ram Rattan Raina and others. |
