Poonch, Jan 23: Under the supervision of SSP Poonch, Jatindar Singh Johar tightened security measures in view of 67th Republic Day in the district. Nakas were laid at various places of Poonch and more than hundred vehicles were challaned and also seized more than thirty five vehicles. Meantime Deputy Superintendent of Police head quarter, DySP HQ Mojeeb Ur Rehman, DySP. DR Rehman, DySP operation Sheezan Bhat, station house officer (SHO) Poonch Jatinder Raina laid nakas at Nakhawali chowk, Kanuian and Qazi Morha ect. of Poonch district. SSP Poonch was also present along with them on this way. While briefing media persons SSP JS Johar said that he along with his team are trying to provide better police administration to the Poonch people. He said that police, SOG and CRPF are alert on Republic day on 26th of January. He further said that they are on duty round the clock. |
