Early Times Report Jammu, Feb 13: Four day 'First Aid Training Programme' concluded at Red Cross Bhawan, Kachi Chhawni, Jammu in which more than 25 Drivers/Conductors of Commercial vehicles took part in the said training started from 10th February, 2016 which is mandatory for all driving license holders to go through detailed First Aid Training in order to save the precious lives during un -toward accidents. The training was imparted by the well versed doctors including Dr. Rajinder Thapa, Chief Causality Officer of Govt. SMGS Hospital , Jammu, Dr. Rohini Bhan and Dr. Kavita Nijohn, Medical Officers of Red Cross Dispensary besides Dr. M. L. Sharma. RC Puri, Hony. Secretary, Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu Region Jammu also gave detailed presentation about the First Aid Training and impressed upon the trainers to provide necessary First Aid to the injured during any eventuality. The Secretary further appealed to the general public particularly the youth to come forward and take part in the said First Aid Training which is being imparted under the aegis of St. John Ambulance Association at Red Cross Bhawan, Kachi Chhawni, Jammu. |
