NFSA creates chaos amongst rationees 3/13/2016 10:48:52 PM Dev S Early Times Report Katra, Mar 13: The department of CAPD has been taking such decisions which instead of providing any relief to the poor population, has been creating more problems for the already suffering people. The step taken by CAPD for supplying of grains instead of wheat in the State, has created a havoc for the people as in the present time it is not feasible for all to get the grains grind and extract flour of it. The ration has not been provided to some people even though after the announcement of such massive packages from the centre for the state. Reliable sources said that in the past even the quantity of Ration disbursed to the rationees at control rate was not quite enough, but now decision of reduction of ration has created chaos amongst the rationees. Sources said that the poor Peope have to suffer a lot with the NFSA as the reduction of ration by the government has created a chaos to the poor people who lack enough money to spend on the food other than spending on more basic needs. Ravinder Kumar, a local resident of Katra shared that the decision of the CAPD to reduce the quantity of ration at control rate have made the poorer to suffer a lot while there is no such effect on the riches. He added that the supply of the ration at control rate is a great need for the poor rather than the riches as the rich people can buy the ration at any rate but it is not affordable for the poor or laborers to but the sation at higher rates. One more local rued that the supply of grains instead of flour (Atta) is also a wrong decision as either the grinding mills are less available and those which are available deduct much quantity of flour as the charge to grind the grains.
