JAMMU, Apr 18: As part of the "Gram Udhey Se Bharat Udhey Abhiyan" Phase IInd, a Kissan Sabha for the panchayats of Chowki and Choura was held today at Chowki Choura.
Sarpanchs and Panchs of both the panchayats besides farmers of various villages falling within two panchayats participated in the Kissan Sabha.
On the occasion, Block Development Officer, Chowki Choura, Mita Kumari and representatives of Agriculture Department highlighted different programmes and policies of the Government.
She also spoke on various welfare schemes of the Central Government including MGNREGA, SBM (G), IAY, PMJDY, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Yojna, Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojna and Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana. |
