Anti-national JNU students sympathize with separatists
4/19/2016 12:13:30 AM

Early Times Report
Jammu, April 18: A few students of JNU are hell bent upon turning the renowned varsity of India into a hub of anti-national activities as they have started poking their nose in the political affairs which don't fall in their domain.
They maintained silence when non-local NIT students were beaten for hoisting the tricolor and staging a pro-India protest in Srinagar but they (JNU) students wasted no time to hit the streets and staged a protest at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi against the Handwara killings and demanded the revocation of the Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA) from Jammu and Kashmir.
These students backed by All India Students Association (AISA), were joined by members of All India Progressive Women's Association (AIPWA) and created a hungama at Jantar Mantar and just fell short of demanding Azadi for Kashmir.
An analyst while talking to Early Times said, "These students have become a nuisance in the JNU first they wrecked havoc in the JNU campus by glorifying Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru. They raised anti-national slogans in the campus and demanded Azadi for Kashmir."
"It's unfortunate that a few students have vitiated the atmosphere of the JNU and are taking the undue advantage of the freedom of speech," he added.
The analyst said, "It seems these students are playing into the hands of the Kashmiri separatists and are trying to preach secessionism. The Government needs to take a note of their misadventures as they are emerging as a threat to nation."
The analyst while referring to NIT crisis in Srinagar said, "When non-local NIT students were threatened and beaten for hoisting tricolor and raising pro-India slogans in the Valley none of these so-called student unions backed the nationalist students who took the bull by its horns to prove their love for their motherland India. None of these students unions staged a protest at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi to express solidarity with the NIT students."
Another expert said, "These students by staging an anti-India protest at Jantar Mantar and by playing into the hands of separatist elements have proved that they have no love for their motherland and have lost the plot."
He said, "Entire India expressed solidarity with the NIT students and stood with them as they had done nothing wrong by hoisting a tricolor and staging a pro-India demonstration. The exemplary show of nationalism by the NIT students should serve as an eye-opener for these so-called student unions who have become the stooges of anti-national and disruptive elements. They are challenging the idea of India and are testing our patience. They should stop indulging in politics and concentrate on their studies otherwise one can for see that their future is bleak."
The JNU students who staged a protest at Jantar Mantar need know that separatists had hatched a conspiracy to foment trouble in Handwara town as the girl, whom the miscreants had alleged had been molested by a soldier, has denied that any molestation took place and she has recorded her statement before the Magistrate. "No sane Indian can tolerate any absurd allegations against the Indian Army as we are proud of our Army and jawans, who face all the odds to protect us and have given supreme sacrifices of their lives to safeguard the integrity and sovereignty of the country," said a politician.
