Jammu, Apr 18 : A sports week with the theme JAZBA -the face of youth, being organized by Trikuta College of Computer Sciences and Management Studies commenced today.
The sports week started with the lighting of traditional lamp by the chairperson of Sri Sain Charitable Trust , Suman Sharma.
After lightening the lamp , she spoke on the importance of sports in students life and declared the sports event , JAZBA open.
The event started with a Cricket Match (organized by TCCS & MS under the coordinator Ankush Sharma which was played between Degree Dare Devils and Ayurveda Super Kings.
The match was won by Degree Dare Devils by 81 runs.
After the Cricket Match, a series of Tug of War was also played out of which Jammu Institute of Ayurveda and Research Prof was declared as winner.
The sports events which will be played during the sports week are Carrom , Cricket , Chess , Table Tennis , Kho - Kho , Tug of war , Sac Races , Lemon Race etc. |
