JAMMU, Apr 18 : Vikas Karlopia and Dr Madulika Bhagat won their respective ties to strengthen their position in men and women sections respectively in badminton event of the ongoing teachers and officers sports meet, organised by Campus Sports Committee on the University of Jammu (JU) campus, here today.
Competition in other two events of table tennis and carrom also took place at the Gymnasium Hall of the JU.

MEN : BADMINTON: Vikas Karlopia beat Amit Sharma 2-1 (21-19, 18-21, 21-17). TABLE TENNIS: Dr Rakesh Vaid beat Tarsem Singh 2-1 11-08, 09-11, 11-07). CARROM: Amit Sharma beat Dr Sandeep Arya 1-0.
WOMEN : BADMINTON: Dr Madulika Bhagat beat Dr Sarita Sood 2-0 21-08, 21-07). TABLE TENNIS: Dr Madulika Bhagat beat Dr Sarita Sood 2-1 (11-05, 08-11, 11-09). CARROM: Dr Seema Lalotra beat Dr Madulika Bhagat 1-0. |
