JAMMU, Apr 18: Nationalist Congress Party (NCP)'s State president- Thakur Randhir Singh demanded to Mehbooba Mufti- the first women chief minister to provide sufficient power to State Accountability Commission which was came to existence during the maiden government of PDP. According to press release, Sigh said that he was heading a National party NCP and proposed this SAC in the all party meeting and it had unanimously passed where justice Late R P Sethi a legal luminary, retired as a judge of Supreme Court was requested to head this State Accountability Commission with lot of persuasion and amendments. Singh further said that the successive state governments of Jammu and Kashmir have made this act as an ornament piece only and most of the complaints against Chief Ministers , Deputy Chief Ministers, Ministers, legislatures , bureaucrats, land grabbers are lying in the High Court for further appeals and the entire political atmosphere has been polluted in the state and nobody ever tried to restore Accountability act 2002 which was more effective in nature and would have put in jail many corrupt politicians. Singh demanded fully empowered to J&K State Accountability act of 2002 in the first budget session of J&K Assembly being held Srinagar and has appealed to BJP a coalition partner which claims to be most clean party and PDP which wants to fulfill the dream of Late Mufti Mohd Sayeed's legacy. |
