Jammu, Apr 18: Samba Police claimed to have solved three theft cases besides made the arrest of the two thieves effective here today and also recovered three motorcycles on the disclosures of accused. The accused have been identified as Vikas Kumar s/o Tersem Lal and Rajesh Kumar s/o Manlu Ram, both residents of Nanak-E-Chak Samba.
Police reports said that Samba police headed by Inspector Jalil Kichloo, SHO P/S Vijaypur under the supervision of S S Sambyal, SDPO Vijaypur recovered three motor cycles bearing regd no: JK02AL/3140, JK21A/0753 and JK02AE/8075 on the disclosures of two accused.
"The motorcycles were stolen from Vijaypur town last month and accordingly, the three cases were registered under FIR Nos. 27/2016, 45/2016 and 46/2016 u/s 379 RPC at P/S Vijaypur, a senior police officer said.
"Further investigation into the matter is going on and recovery of other thefts in other cases by these accused persons cannot be ruled out", a senior police officer said when contacted. |
