Ramban, May 3: A married lady was injured seriously when hit by a negligently driven vehicle at Baggu nullah near Batote this afternoon. A case stands registered while manhunt is on to nan the absconding driver of the vehicle.
According to the police sources, the injured lady has been identified as Gita Devi w/o Chuni Lal of village Chhampa, Batote. "The lady was injured when a vehicle bearing regd no: JK14A-3329 hit her this afternoon, sources said, adding, " the injured lady was nearby Emergency Hospital Batote from where she was referred to the Govt Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) Jammu for specialized treatment.
Meanwhile the police have launched a manhunt to nab the driver of the vehicle who fled from the spot after hitting the lady while vehicle has been seized. |
