Early Times Report Reasi, May 4: Bodh Raj, Sarpanch, Panchayat Halqa Bhabbar Brahamna today alleged that injustice has been done to labour who have worked hard during floods in the months of September, 2014. Addressing a press conference here today, he said that labourers who have worked for the installation of the 4th gravity water pipes located in the area T. Nalla Karua to Bhabbar, have not been paid by the authorities. He urged upon the higher ups of the administration to get their personal intervention and due payments on the account of labour might be given to the labourers. "Dharam Chand, Balbir Kumar, Ashwani Kumar, Ramesh Chander, Deepak Sharma, Joginder Kumar and Jeet Kumar among the labourers waiting for payment", he said. He further said that that during the year 2010-11 when the repair work of the Railway track was in progress and the 2nd pipe lines were uprooted near Chimyada Pai by the authorities of railways and till date the said pipes were not reconnected resulting scarcity of water supply. The District Administration Reasi/Concerned Department has been approached by the Panchayat and the Sarpanch in person gave so many reminders but till date nothing has been heard. |
