SEECC calls on DSE Jammu

Jammu, May 6: A delegation of School Education Employees Coordination Committee (SEECC) Jammu comprising of All J&K +2 Lecturers' Forum, Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum, ReT Teachers Forum, School Education Non-teaching Employees Forum & Contingent Paid Employees Forum called on Director School Education Jammu Smita Sethi under the chairmanship of N.S. Jamwal, Ganesh Khajuria & B.B. Kotwal Provincial Chairman, President and Gen. Secretary of the SEECC.
SEECC members apprised DSEJ about various issues and problems being faced by the employees of School Education Department. They raised issue of repatriation of Lecturers and Masters working in other districts who have completed their tenure to their home districts.
The members also requested Director for early holding up of DPC of Non-teaching employees of department and speed up the process of regularization of all Incharge incumbents i.e. Joint Directors, CEOs, Principals, Lecturers, ZEOs and Headmasters as per the instructions of Administrative Department for completion of regularization process pending for years together.
They also demanded early disposal of ReT's regularization cases, release of grants under SSA, RMSA & Mid Day meal. SEECC members also appealed Director to take up the case of enhancement of wages of contingent paid workers as per minimum wages Act and also their regularization as has already been done in case of their counterparts in Kashmir Province & demanded this disparity should be removed at the earliest.
Director School Education Jammu congratulated the entire teaching fraternity on bagging 31 merit positions in recently declared 12th class Board results by Govt. Institutions.
She gave a patient hearing to the delegation & assured for early redressal of the demands & grievances projected by the SEECC and also sought cooperation of SEECC for further improvement in the overall academic excellence of the School Education Department.
