| Local BJP leaders mislead central leadership on corruption cases | | |

jammu, May 6: The maturity level of Bhartiya Janta Party can be measured from the act of immaturity indulged into by the nationally acclaimed leader having showered praises on the working of its local leaders running the government in the state with PDP.
One may believe it or not but it is interesting to note the faulty mechanism of information collection and also the extent of efficiency level of local BJP leaders feeding their national level leader Avinash Rai Khanna, BJP Vice President with totally wrong information about corruption cases during ten months working of BJP in the government which sounds strange ,if not ridiculous, to launch misinformation campaign to befool the public in general and their own leader in particular without obtaining the latest status of corruption cases registered against corrupt officials during 2015 from the concerned department, which is a frantic attempt to appease their senior leader who appears to be naive to trust his untrustworthy lot having become a nuisance for people repenting to support BJP in assembly elections 2014.
In order to set the record straight for awareness of uninformed and unconnected BJP leaders, the information available in the website of Vigilance Department of the State divulges the update of corruption cases registered in 2015 which belies the version of Incharge of Jammu and Kashmir affairs, BJP leader Avinash Rai Khanna, who disclosed while addressing the office bearers of BJP that during ten months tenure of BJP in the government, not a single case of corruption has been seen which indicates commitment of the party to public probity. As per information, 43 cases of corruption have been registered by Vigilance Organization Jammu of various natures during 2015 and 10 cases registered during 2016 till now. These figures of corruption cases sharply contradicts the assertions of BJP leader, who seems to have been misguided by local BJP leaders, having already lost the faith of public here due to their recalcitrant and deceptive attitude who are now even not sparing its national leader to face the burnt of local leaders' deception indulging into misinformation campaign to befool him,who also appears to be non serious on issues of public importance which is bound to further alienate the public of Jammu from BJP beating the drum of public probity publicly, they pooh poohed.
The political critics wonder to note the concept of corruption invented by the BJP which appears to differentiate between corruption in public life and corruption in political party and if the figures of corruption cases emerged and registered in Vigilance Organization during tenure of BJP rule in 2015 have any meaning for them adequately enough to serve as an eyes opener for BJP, it transpires that for local BJP leaders , corruption rampant amongst public servants in state's administration does not matter them much ,they further, illustrate adding that for BJP, "jeh chalta hi" approach is still dominating the minds of these leaders, probably knowing fully well that corruption in public has entered into every fabric of public life with its benefits and booty seemingly going up unnoticed and corruption at the highest level in political life does never see the light of day due to influence of power which can easily be wielded to cover up the elements of corruption prevalent there and hence the assertion of BJP while addressing its office bearers might be a pointer towards this direction ignoring the figures of corruption cases registered in 2015.
Taking a cue of public probity being discussed by BJP in its meeting, political experts keenly watching the workings of BJP state that probity in public life has its various ramifications and only one aspect of probity touched by BJP about corruption has back fired its own statement with BJP utterly failed to prove its probity on the front of manifesting the character of being true and honest representatives and protectors of interests of Jammu people, further bemoaning the unfriendly attitude of BJP leaders holding positions of Ministers, they add that even the BJP MLAs are up in arms with complaints against their Ministers who have become inaccessible to them for seeking their (Minister's) help and are alleged to be working and dancing to the tune of power brokers and affluent businessmen controlling the nerves of BJP leaders hand in gloves with the former to achieve their sinister agenda of proving to be more as liability than as an asset for common people who have reposed immense faith in them while choosing them in electoral process.
Commenting on the expression of BJP leader which indicates the party's commitment towards public probity appearing in the print media, the political analysts point out the futility of holding a meet only confined to highlight the aspect of corruption which was also a bundle of bluffs showing no concern to many others burning issues confronting the public in Jammu, further add, that the acumen power of BJP for its quest to gain excellence in governance and to learn the art of developing inquisitiveness to gather authentic inputs to place their view point accurately in the right perspective, has diminished with getting the power of chair for which the people of Jammu division has made the local BJP party to enjoy its intoxication and a sense of lull never ever tasted and felt by it being its numbers at the very lowest ebb in state legislature and always sat in opposition learning nothing ,further they explain, adding that one of the important election planks of Bhartiya Janta Party percolated down from Prime Minister Narinder Modi to obliterate corruption from the public life looks to be a distant dream for the local BJP leaders to achieve practically which itself is an act of negating the concept the public probity which means uprightness, moral integrity and honesty and BJP leaders still have the opportunity in their hands and put in sincere efforts to come upto the expectations of people to prove public probity, which they should never jettison during second term in the state government |
