Early Times Report
Banihal, May 20: Daily wagers of Public Health Engineering (PHE) Department highlighted their various demands including their regularization and release of pending dues for the last 30 months.
A deputation of PHE daily wagers from Banihal while highlighting issues of employees told Early Times today revealed their pending dues are withheld from past more than thirty months which has created financial problems for them to make booth ends to meet.
"Some of the dailwagers are working in the department from past ten to fifteen years and are still waiting for the regularization, they said, while demanding regularization of daily wagers.
PHE daily wagers also lamented that despite of many assurances by the officers of the department and even from the political leaders of different parties their demands yet have not been fulfilled.
They said that due to the financial constraints i.e. non release of their dues for the last 30 months the future of their children lies in dark as they cannot arrange the school fee for them.
PHE Daily wagers have appealed to the chief minister, concerned PHE minister and authorities to intervene and look into the genuine demands of the employees and pass directions to release the pending dues at earliest and to regularize their services who have given more than seven years of the service to the department.
The deputation was led by president of daily wagers sub division PHE Banihal Kasir Iqbal Ghani while Parvaiz Ahmed Dar, Mukthiyar Ahmed, Tariq Ahmed and others were also present on this occasion.
