Jammu, July 25: Dogra front led by Raj Singh Jamwal a well known educationist and leader of Jammu merged his party with his hundreds of followers with Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) led by well known national , secular strong Maratha leader Sharad Pawar and Jammu and Kashmir state president NCP a veteran leader Randhir Singh. Raj Singh Jamwal said in a statement that he is very much impressed with performance of Thakur Randhir Singh as Minister Transport , Tourism , Ladakh affairs , information, excise, geology and many other portfolios under G M Bakshi, G M Sadiq and Syed Mir Qasim and resigned when Shiekh Abdullah took over under Indira -Shiekh accord in 1975 with all Congress stalwarts, like G L Dogra-Abdul Gani , Trilochan Dutt and Baba Parmanand. Jamwal said historian will tell whether this accord was suitable or not . The India national Congress lost forever in the state which had its roots in all parts of the state and a family rule governed for 30 years which has lost only now. The rule destroyed the cabinet system, the corruption spread like wild fire in all the departments, the delimitation was stopped by Farooq Abdullah till 2026 , which deprived their share of assembly and parliamentary seats , no central law was introduced in the state. Former Minister Randhir Singh state president NCP and all senior leaders of NCP heartly welcomed Raj Singh Jamwal a Dogra Mandal leader and his followers in state NCP who have great influence in district Samba, Kathua , Jammu , Udhampur , Reasi and entire kandi belt of Jammu province . |
