Early Times Report
jammu, July 25: The Home Minister has indicated at starting dialogue with the separatists. The home ministry has though under the new Kashmir policy of the Modi has clearly de-linked Hurriyat and the Pakistan.
Home minster Rajnath Singh tacitly underscored the need for holding talks with the separatists with carefully drafted words that talks can be held with the people who had differences. It was a clear signal to the separatist that they may be invited for talks but a rider was also promptly added that Pakistan will have no role in the talks.
This clearly crafted policy of delinking Hurriyat-Pakistan matrix is a new Kashmir policy which has been adopted by the Modi government. It Centre by delinking them and by possibly extending invitation for talks with the separatists will send a message that Kashmir remains and internally even if a political problem. The home ministry has tried to re-send this message when and where the talks will be held the state government will be informed and kept in the loop.
"This clearly shows that while separatists may be recognized as an entity they will not be made out to be that they over-shadow the popularly elected government. In the past separatists were put at premimum than that mainstream parties and it's probably this which emboldened them and also the Pakistan,. It' will be changed and it has started," said the official in the home ministry.
The new Kashmir policy is being framed in the matrix that when and where the talks will announced the separatists will be left with the no option but to accept it .
"When the talks will be announced the separatist could not refuse them on the pretext that Pakistan has been completely kept out of the loop. It will go against them in the public and BJP will use it as an excuse to further corner them. The coming days will see much more movement on the Kashmir with clear stamp of Modi policy," said the official.
