Udhampur, July 25: Thieves struck in the posh area of Udhampur city near Ramngar Chowk when they decamped with donation box after breaking the locks of a temple situated in the area. Quoting the priest of temple, police sources said, "Priest of temple informed police about theft that some unidentified burglars struck during intervening night of July 24/25 and decamped with donation box of the temple.
"Police rushed to the spot and collected circumstantial evidences including finger prints from the crime spot after registering a case in this regard," police said.
"During the course of investigations police recovered the donation box from some meters away from the temple, police sources said. |
