Govt extends date for filing tax returns 7/29/2016 12:10:48 AM Early Times Report Srinagar, July 28: In a major relief to the trade and business community, Finance Minister, Dr Haseeb Drabu has approved extension of filing of tax returns for the first quarter of the year from July 3I to August 3I, 2016, an official spokesman said. The Minister said the initiative has been taken in view of the persistent demand of the business community as they were finding it difficult to do so due to breakdown of internet services. He said Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti was keen that the relief in terms of extension of deadline for filing of filing of tax returns must be provided to the trade and business community.
