jammu, Aug 31: The Vigilance Organisation J&K conducted Joint surprise checks in Jammu, Samba, Ramban, Kishtwar, Rajouri & Poonch on receipts of inputs and complaints regarding misappropriation in supply of ration to the genuine ration card holders as per category / ration cards by the CAPD department Jammu Division and also it was reported that higher rates are being charged from ration card holders and ration is being sold in black market. The JSC were also conducted to investigate the complaints regarding misappropriation in the carriage charges causing loss to the state exchequer. During JSC relevant record has been seized on spot for scrutiny from the offices of TSOs of Akhnoor , Samba, Ramban, Kishtwar, Kalakote and Mandi . Records from the randomly selected dealers have also been seized for examination and scrutiny. Besides, more records will be requisitioned / seized during the course of investigation to ascertain the facts. |
