AJKHGA demand enhanced salary for HG jawans

Jammu, Aug 31: Threadbare discussion regarding the burning demand of All J&K Home Guard Association under the chairmanship of Kamla Sharma was held today.
While speaking on the occasion Kamla Sharma highlighted the role of Jawans who always come on the forefront at the time of emergency and in odd hours.
She also expressed that Home Guard Jawans are being p paid a very meager salary of Rs. 60/-while the constables in the Police Department are being paid Rs. 1200/-to Rs. 1500/-per day which is a great injustice to Home Guard jawans. .
She has further said that the Suprème Court has issued the orders of Constabie in the Police Department where as the home Guards jawans are deprives such benefits which great injustice with them while attending same nature of duties.
Hence the kind attention of the Chief Minister of State Mehbooba Mufti who is well known for her justice is hereby urged upon to redress our genuine grievances and direct the state admission to implement the Suprème Court's order as all other Belt force of the adjoining states like Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, M.P. Delhi and recently implemented in U.P are enjoying the orders while as in our states Jawans has been deprived of the same benefits . She further that we have already called upon Dr. Jatinder Singh ji Hon'ble Union Minister) in this regard who has told that our orders have already issued by Center Government and it is sole responsibility of the State Government to implement the order. Kamla Sharma has further urged upon the Government as well as Home Department to issue the order within week's time in the favour of the State especially for Home Guard Jawans.
Besides we very well of the state of affairs the Government is reeling under grim situation in the valley, and we are Always withstand her under such circumstances, she said.
Others whó spoke on the occasion include, sanlosh Kumari, Pawan kumaraj Darshana Devi, Kailash Devi, Usha, Sunita, Mannu ( Varinder Singh, Sanjay Kumar, Pawan Kumar, Krishan Lal Rakesh Singh, Gopal Dass, Sobha Singh.
