Early Times Report

Jammu, Jan 10: J&K State Sports Council Association (JKSCA) members on Thursday supported and acknowledged the recently publicized pronouncement that government of Jammu and Kashmir is keen to merge some departments to their sister concerned departments whose aims and objective are same.
One of the members said that J&K State Sports Council as per the government announcement shall be merged with department of Youth Services and Sports. We the employees of J&K State Sports Council warmly welcomes the decision and have no objection at all, because it is admitted fact that from last several years J&K State Sports Council administration is not functioning and had violate its own norms and rules especially in the field of Sports activities and establishment faculties.
He added that we the 95% of employees of J&K State Sports Council are very glad to hear that Honorable Governor, Advisor to Governor and Chief Secretary of J&K is very keen to merge J&K State Sports Council with Youth Services and Sports to achieve its actual goal
He alleged that some self-interest persons who are running their self-interest shops illegally under the present status of the department are opposing the merge decision. We the employees of J&K State Sports Council in a positive concern request Governor of J&K , Advisors to Governor and Chief Secretary and other concerned authorities that to develop the actual sports in the State , final call in this regard may kindly be taken and merger orders in this respect may be issued at your earliest.
All the members is one voice said that is requested that while issuing merger orders our employees must be benefited at par with the employees of Youth Services and Sports department including our long pending demand of pensioner benefits to the employees of J&K State Sports Council for which we are struggling since last 23 years.
