Jammu, July 6: Suman Gupta, internationally acclaimed senior artist belonging of J&K State, shall be showcasing his latest art work at" FIGURATIVAS 2019 "the most prestigious representational art competition of Europe and America at "European Museum of Modern Art" (MEAM), situated in an old 18th-century palace in the Born district in Barcelona, Spain.
The international Jury comprising the names of the great European and American living masters, like Antonio Lopez Garcia, Odd Nerdrum, Jacob Collins, Alex Kanevsky and Eduardo Naranjo .who met Barcelona and selected the art works of only 57 artists which make it to the final list out of some more than 2000 entries received from 80 countries worldwide . Suman gupta is the only artist from India whose art work " Song of the river" has been selected in the said event.The inauguration of the exhibition will be on Friday, December 6th, 2019 in the MEAM halls of Barcelona. And On Saturday, December 7th, 2019, the celebration of a party is scheduled to commemorate the "Day of the Artist. |
