Udhampur, July 22: It seems that there is no end to injustice to the Poor masses as CA&PD department has converted their Below Poverty Line Ration Cards into Above Poverty line Ration Cards. In Panchayat Chulana of Panchari tehsil of district Udhampur many BPL have been converted into APL cards without giving the poor a vhance of being heard.Satya Devi, a local said her BPL has become APL and hence cannot get sugar. She has appealed to the CAPD to do the needful in this regard.
A labourer said that without any intimation our ration card wax converted into APL. How this happened, we don't know as " I am poor labourer. How my ration card was converted into AP. This is injustice. The concerned must rectify their mistake as soon as possible," he lamented. Kuldeep Kumar Sarpanch Panchayat halqa Chulana has received many complaints from a number of villagers. He said the error occured while the ration cards eere being linked with ADHAR.
He has urged the authorities to restore the previous position. |
