1/23/2022 11:54:44 PM
EARLY TIMES REPORT

JAMMU, Jan 23: National Old Pension Restoration United Front (NOPRUF) held an e-meeting of its stake holders under the leadership of its National President BP Singh Rawat through google Meet.
The meeting was organized by National Executive members/States/UTs Presidents and other important portfolio holders of NOPRUF across the country, who all participated in the google meeting.
National President BP Singh Rawat, National General Secretary & Convener Chhattisgarh NOPRUF team Virendra Dubey, UT President Jammu and Kashmir Gulzabir Daing and NOPRUF leaders from various states and UTs spoke in the meeting.
The aim of the meeting was to coordinate the members of NOPRUF in order to strengthen it and to propagate general awareness about the flaws of New Pension Scheme (NPS) and benefits of Old Pension Scheme(OPS).
NPS employees were also informed about different scheduled programs of the organization on February 1 in favour of OPS restoration under the banner of NOPRUF.
National president NOPRUF BP Singh Rawat said that all NPS employees of the country need to support NOPRUF in order to make the voice for restoration of OPS strong.
He said that as far as post retirement benefits of NPS are concerned, it is a big joke with NPS employees as they would have to live difficult life after retirement with insufficient income of pension
National President appealed the participants that in order to give strength to the voice of NOPRUF, they need to give NOPRUF an extension by registering more and more members to it.
All the NPS employees of India have been asked by National President to write placards and posters like "Vote for OPS, We support OPS, Restore Old Pension Scheme and our mission Old Pension Scheme" from their respective homes and upload them on different social media sites and tag them with different political parties of the country between 10 am to 2 pm. He hoped that all NPS employees of India would make the campaign a success.
