A day after submitting his resignation from the council of ministers and the post of PCC Chief congress legislator Peerzada Mohd Sayeed,facing graft charges, distanced himself from the driver arrested by the state police alleging that the driver enjoyed proximity of the Shoib family and was more close to them.Sayeed also made it clear that his wife had not threatened mother of Shoib Lone over telephone, as claimed by Shoib in his accusation.
“I have noting to do with the driver Altaf Noorani arrested by the state police.My wife also did not threatened any one on telephone.,Sayeed told reporters addressing press conference at his residence.

Here is the detail: The total consumption of various kinds of liquors during last two years in the state are; Indian Made Foreign Liquor 191.51 lakh bottles and beer 53.81 lakh bottles in Jammu division consumed during the year 2006-07 while as in Kashmir division IMFL 3.85 lakh bottles and beer 1.65 lakh bottles were consumed during the same year.
