Jammu, Oct 18: With no unanimity over the election of new State Party chief, a high level BJP delegation is leaving for Union Capital on November 2 to sort out the issue with national party president, Nitin Gadkari.

srinagar, Oct 18: Even after 14 years of takeover of the then Jhelum Valley Medical College (JVC) by the Shere-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), the prestigious institution itself has failed to transform the institution into a full-fledged Medical College and is faced with danger of de-recognition by the Medical Council of India (MCI).
Reliable sources told KNS that the college, which had an initial strength of 280 beds in 1998 at the time of its takeover by the SKIMS, is presently having only 220 beds.

BISHNAH (JAMMU), Oct 18: Reiterating his demand of early completion of Shahpur Kandi project to improve socio-economic conditions of the farmers of Jammu region, Peoples' Democratic Party (PDP) patron Mufti Mohammad Sayeed today said that delay in completion of this project was badly affecting farming community of the State.
