Pakistan may be collapsing with crunch but there is no dearth of money when it comes to funding the jehad and activities of terror in Jammu and Kashmir.
The Jammu and Kashmir Police have caught hold of yet another prized catch with the busting of huge hawala funnel when Rs 50 lakhs were being taken to Kashmir in a gas cylinder. An elder in his 60s and a young woman along with a child have been arrested from the National Highway while they were on their way to Srinagar carrying one of the biggest currency consignment of recent times for the separatists.
It is learnt that the consignment has originated from a source in Saudi Arabia.
"The conduits are being questioned and further arrests are likely on knowing as whom this money was meant for", said a senior Police officer here.
