Jammu | Dec 8: In a final showdown at battle of Poonch, Sunday will pick up fresh heat as Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad and National Conference patron Dr Farooq Abdullah test the popularity ground on same day.
As over two dozen top National Conference and Congress leadersincluding many legislators and Ministers continue to camp in Poonch,the two top most leaders of both parties are reaching Poonch tomorrow for the grand finale. It will be an interesting scene when the National Conference patron, Dr Farooq Abdullah, lands in Poonch tomorrow where Chief Minister, Ghulam Nabi Azad, would also seek voters support on the same day. Jammu | Dec 8: As the Jammu University campus continued to simmer for third consecutive day, the Vice Chancellor Prof Amitabh Mattoo this morning had a meeting with the Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad to discuss the situation arising out at the campus following clashed between groups of students.

Jammu and Srinagar cities have been included in a mega cities project by the Union Cabinet.
Both Jammu and Srinagar have been put under developmental projects, which would cost around Rs 600 crore. The cities have been included in Phase-VII of the National Highways Development Project for construction of ring roads, bye-passes, fly-overs in mega cities as a special case, a central govt official said.
The project was conceived for the mega cities of the country and however, this would help to decongest the twin cities.

It may look incredible but is a fact that despite availability of modern technology and other methods, the Jammu and Kashmir Police have sought the help of witchcrafts to solve a theft case.
According to reports about four months back, thieves barged into Post office at Taryath during the night and decamped with cash amounting to Rs 36000 by breaking open the locker.
