Early Times Report kathua, Apr 26:Minister of State for Fisheries, Cooperatives, Finance and Planning Dr Manohar Lal Sharma today inaugurated various development projects during his extensive tour of Billawar constituency. ADDC Kathua Ajay Jamwal, SDM Billawar Dr Vikas Gupta, XEN PHE , AEE PHE, Tehsildar Billawar also accompanied the minister during the tour. At village Sialana, Dr Sharma dedicated Water Filtration Plant constructed an estimated cost of Rs 2.39 Cr under Water Supply Scheme Uchapind to the people. Residents of Sialana Panchayat hailed the minister for his efforts to get the WSS sanctioned and solve the water shortage problem in the area. Dr Sharma also inaugurated newly built additional building of Government High School Sialana. ZEO Billawar and other district and tehsil level officer were among those present at the inauguration. Later, Dr Sharma also convened Public Grievance Camp at Sialana and listened to the problems of the people. Early Times Report budgam, Apr 26: The District Development Commissioner, Budgam Mr. Khurshid Ahmad accompanied by team of the officers of industries and district administration today inspected the Industrial Estate, Ompora and Rangreth. The DDC was informed that the Industrial Estate, Ompora is spread over an area of 1008 kanals maintained by J&K SIDCO. The units inspected by him included M/S Comfort Polymers come up at a cost of Rs 5cr. M/s Himalaya Rolling Mills-an automatic Steel Plant coming up at a cost of Rs 100cr. Early Times Report JAMMU, Apr 26: Minister for Housing, Horticulture and Culture Mr. Raman Bhalla today dedicated one lakh gallon discharge capacity deep drill tube well to the residents of Kanthu Mohallah, Friends Colony and its adjoining areas. The construction work of tube well, including laying of water supply pipes, has been completed at a cost of Rs 50 lakh under Water Supply Scheme Kanthu Mohallah. The scheme includes drilling, establishment of electrical, mechanical sub-stations and civil works.
