| Government developing college infrastructure: Lone | | | |

SRINAGAR, May 13: Minister for Higher Education, Mr. Mohammad Akbar Lone today said that government is developing and upgrading the educational infrastructure in the State and various initiatives have been taken in this regard.
Mr. Lone exhorted upon college teachers to adopt innovative measures besides providing quality education based on modern methods to the students. He also stressed for imparting extra-curricular activities besides inculcating moral and ethical values among them.
This was stated by the Minister while inspecting the site which has been identified for the construction of additional blocks for the College.
Mr. lone directed the DGM J&K Housing Board to prepare the DPR and take up the work accordingly, so that long pending demand of upgrading the college infrastructure is fulfilled urgently.

SRINAGAR: MLA Sonwar, Mr. Mohammad Yaseen Shah today visited different areas of the constituency to take stock of developmental projects being executed for the welfare and upliftment of the people.
During his visit he also inspected the under construction Wethpara, Soiteng bridge executed by JKPCC at an estimated cost of Rs. 13 crore out of which Rs. 7 crore have been released under NABARD for which the pace of work is in full swing.
