| Dental Council of India recognizes IGGDC, Jammu--Taj Expresses gratitude to Azad | | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 15: Asserting that government has evolved an effective mechanism to ensure enhanced medicare in the state, Minister for Medical Education, Youth Services and Sports, Taj Mohu-ud-Din on Wednesday said that all the healthcare institutions especially in rural and far-off pockets are being equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment facilities besides adequate staff.
The Minister was speaking at a function jointly organized by Government Medical College and Indira Gandhi Government Dental College Jammu in connection with recognition of IGGDC by Union Ministry for Health and Family Welfare, at GMC.

SAMBA, May 15: Deputy Commissioner Samba ,R.K Varma on Wednesday had a meeting with concerned officers to review necessary arrangements for ensuing Annual Congregation at Baba Chamlayal Shrine to be held in the last week of June during his visit to the revered Shrine.
The Baba Chamlayal Shrine which is situated on zero line of Indo-Pak border and thronged by thousands of pilgrims from both the sides of India and Pakistan during the annual congregation known for its earth (Shakar )and water for healing the skin problems.

JAMMU, May 15: Member Parliament, Ch. Lal Singh today dedicated modernized Post office to the people of Reasi in the presence of Chief Postmaster General, J&K Circle, John Samuel. The Post Office has been modernized under “Project Arrow” launched by the Department of Posts.
