Early Times Report Jammu, May 14: Even as the Assembly elections are awaited in J&K for five years now, Kashmir is set to float another political party. Sources said some young politicians from Kashmir have been lobbying in the corridors of power that they be given a clearance for floating of a new political party in the valley. It was reliably learnt that at least two politicians, both of whom are also elected representatives at a municipal body, look ahead to float the party in league with some “like minded faces.” Sources said in the past, the duo was affiliated with a same political party and that been having strained relations that time. “Both of them had subsequently left the party. While one of them had joined another party, the second one couldn’t get any good offer,” said a source in the know of the matter. The sources said duo has been lobbying with some youth faces from various parties and individuals that there was a need to float a new political party in Kashmir. Early Times Report Jammu, May 14: After getting a number of fake Twitter accounts blocked for allegedly spreading rumours about the prevailing situation in J&K, security agencies are scanning over 3500 Facebook and Whatsapp pages for fueling unrest and violence through social media. These social media groups are glorifying terror attacks that were executed by terrorists in Poonch and Rajouri in the month of April and May. Early Times Report Jammu, May 14: After recent terror attacks in Poonch and Rajouri, residents living near the Line of Control (LoC) tried to tune in to local radio stations to get authentic information but of no vain as only Pakistani FM stations were available in this border belt. Agencies New Delhi, May 14: Karnataka Director General of Police Praveen Sood has been appointed as the next director of the Central Bureau of Investigation, a government order said on Sunday Praveen Sood is a 1986-batch Indian Police Service (IPS) officer of the Karnataka cadre, officials said.
