Early Times Report Jammu, May 13: Advocate Mohan Atri has filed a petition in the High Court to direct the Katra Police to investigate the death of a teenage girl, who was found hanging in a hotel at Katra on April 9, 2023. Talking to Early Times advocate Atri said, “We have filed a petition in the High Court to seek investigation into the death of a teenage and a prayer to hand over the investigation of the case to Central Bureau of investigation (CBI).” He said that the High Court has directed the Katra Police to file the status report. It’s in place to mention here a teenage female staffer of a prominent hotel in Katra town was found hanging under mysterious circumstances at the staff quarter of the hotel last month. The 18-year old girl, according to Police, was found hanging from the ceiling fan in the staff quarter of the hotel. Advocate Atri said, “Police are resorting to dilly-delay tactics and this will lead to the evidence getting destroyed.” He said, “The hotel in question is a 5-star hotel. People running it are influential people and they own a chain of hotels...
