SRINAGAR: Minister of State for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control Mr. Nazir Ahmad Gurezi today visited various areas in Tehsil Gurez including Budgam of Tuilal area and took stock of different developmental works under execution in these areas. Interacting with the people at different places, the Minister said that the construction work on 13 new water supply schemes at an estimated cost of Rs.11.41 crore to be taken in hand in the Tehsil Gurez soon. These schemes included Check Journiyal, Check Wali, Boola Mari Buglinder, Darthan Wanpora, Byant Burnia, Gujran New, Khutroon Buglinder, Mukhruf Shahpora Bala, Mehdoodat Shahpora Payeen, Thapa Achoora, Shokput Kanzalwan, Wazirthat and Kashpart. Mr. Gurezi said by commissioning these projects it will further augment the drinking water facility in the Tehsil and fulfil the long pending demand of the people of these areas.
