For unknown reasons, or most probably because of Amarnath Land row, no plaque stone was put in place. The PDP rule ended with the land row and Karra lost Batmaloo to Shah in the elections. Karra was forgotten and so was the park.

| | | | Failed, desperate NC out to divide Jammu Pradesh | | Pirpanjal Hill Development Council | | | Neha
JAMMU, July 28: The National Conference, which was rejected by the people across the state in the just-held Lok Sabha elections and which has been abandoned by the equally desperate Congress, has unleashed a campaign which, if not punctured right now, would culminate in the division of Jammu province. It has unleashed forces in the erstwhile Doda district and Poonch-Rajouri area which are leaving no stone unturned to polarize and communalize the political scene in these areas, where the Muslims are quite numerous. On the one hand, they have been attacking India, saying it eroded the state's special status over the period to integrate the state into India, and, on the other hand, they ...

Rustam
JAMMU, July 28: "The Congress is not a dependable ally. It also makes promises on the eve of and during the election campaign to garner votes, but does nothing to fulfill them. It throws its election manifesto into dustbin after the election and enters into an unholy alliance to grab political power. The Congress is the most opportunist party and it indulges in politics of opportunism in a most brazen manner". This is what most of the people in Jammu province believe. The belief is well-founded. During the past more than 66 years, the Congress did behave in a fashion that made the people form such an opinion about the Congress party.
It is hardly necessary to dig the entire histo...
