| Rs 8cr project prioritized for Chatapal tourist Resort: G. A. Mir | | Says Tourism elevation prosperity of State | | | Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, July 4: Chatapal known as mini Pahalgam would be developed a tourist destination, revealed Tourism Minister Mr. Ghulam Ahmad Mir today during his visit to several tourism spots of Shangus, Anantnag including Achabal, Wangam, Watersoo, Chirpora, Metvoo and Chatapal areas .
The Tourism Minister Said that in this regard the State government has prioritized a project report of Rs 8 crore for central funding adding once the approval is received from Union Ministry for Tourism, the necessary development and tourist related infrastructure work would be started.
The Tourism Minister said that pristine glory of pilgrim site Nagdani would be also restored and it would be brought on tourism map of the Country. He said in this regard a detailed project has also been mooted to the Centre for approval of funds.
