EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Oct 30: Panun Kashmir organised the meeting of the activists, executive council and the advisory board to take stock of the preparations for the celebration of the Homeland Day on 28th December. According to a press statement issued from New Delhi, the members in this meeting unanimously decided to hold a one day national convention to reaffirm the unanimous resolve of the Kashmiri Pandit community to strive for the reclamation of the Homeland for all the religiously cleansed Kashmiri Pandits with the union territory status in Kashmir on the north and east of the river Vitasta. "The one day convention will be held at the Green Land Palace, Muthi and the deliberations and technical sessions on all the themes concerning the Kashmiri Pandit community ranging from political to social, economic to cultural will be debated so that a comprehensive line of action is adopted to achieve the supreme of goal of Homeland as envisaged in the Margdarshan Resolution adopted unanimously in 1991 by the Kashmiri Pandit community. The proceedings will commence at 10 AM," the statement added. Speaking in the meeting Kuldeep Raina, General secretary, Panun Kashmir said,"28 th December is a day of reaffirmation for the entire religiously cleansed Kashmiri Pandit community to carry on the struggle for the reclamation of our ancestral land on our own terms with the free flow of the Indian constitution in Kashmir. He further said," Organizational cadres have geared up to celebrate the Homeland Day on 28th December will all vigor and vitality." Pt Omkar Nath Trisal, veteran freedom fighter and member advisory, Panun Kashmir exhorted the entire Kashmiri Pandit Community to participate in this mission on 28th December to reinforce the strength of the Kashmiri pandit nationalist cause to restore the Sanskrit Indian nationhood in Kashmir. "Margdarshan resolution passed on 28th December 1991 is the cardinal principle of KP survival .Only its implementation in true spirit will save the Northern frontiers of India in Kashmir and the Himalayas," he added.
