| TTDF demands CBI probe in 'morphing' of PMGSY site map | | |

Jammu, Nov 5: Tehsil Thathri Development Front(TTDF) today , appealed Chief Minister, Chief Secretary and the constituted high level committee members (i.e. Chief Conservation Forests, Chief Engineer PMGSY & Chief Engineer R&B department) to order impartial CBI probe in reported irregularities especially the submission of totally wrong maps showing villages on the other side of the hill to be on this side by R&B department & also the road map of PMGSY of Kahara Jai road Project from Halaran to Joura.
President Tehsil Thathri Development Front (TTDF), Kuldeep Kumar Rao in a statement stated that alleging irregularities in Kahara Jai road, the locals from villages Budhi, Joura, Shamdlian, Suranga & Kunthal have filed a writ petition in the Court which had directed the Chief Secretary to constitute a high level committee of Chief Conservation Forests, Chief Engineer PMGSY & Chief Engineer R&B Department to submit the report by June 30 who failed to submitted the same by the ending August when the departments requested the court to enhance the date by two weeks. Obliging their request, the court had extended the submission deadline upto September 26, however it is sorry state that the authorities once again have failed to submit report to court.
Meanwhile in another development the road map of Kahara Jai road from Halaran to Joura was submitted by PMGSY Thathri to the public in its reply through RTI, No PMGSY/D/T/751-52 Dated 17-09-2012 is quite wrong and does not at all tally with the 1987 survey or of 2007 prior to this.
TTDF said that PMGSY & R&B departments have previously ignored instructions of Divisional Commissioner Jammu by not providing the information/report which he had sought vide NO 101/2865/2010-11 dated 02-07-2011. Similarly an action taken report was also sought by CM's Grievance cell No:- CMG/6955/09 Dated 23-11-09 by R&B department, has been wrongly provided & that too after two years deliberate delay. |
