Jammu, Nov 8: One person was injured and seven shops gutted in a fire at Bundalpur area of Doda district on Friday morning, police said.
A fire broke out in a shop in Bundalpur due to short-circuit and soon spread to other parts of the market area, police sources said.
Bushan Singh, who was sleeping in a medical store, was injured and admitted to hospital, police added.
Fire tenders were pressed into service, police said adding, the flames have now been brought under control.
According to police, seven shops were gutting in the fire. |
