Jammu, Dec 5: A Veterinary Camp was organised under the aegis of Kalidhar Brigade at village Malla, Distt Rajouri as part of ongoing Operation Sadbh-avana, today. The aim of this veterinary camp was to help the local populace by providing treatment to their livestock at their doorstep.
The local populace had approached the Army and requested for establishment of a veterinary camp in their area.
Thus, realising the aspirations of the local populace residing in this remote border area, the Army established this veterinary camp, which has greatly benefitted them.
The doctors from Military Field Veterinary Hospital examined the large number of cattle & livestock belonging to local populace, who have migrated to this area, during winter season.
The veterinary camp was attended by the village Sarpanchs, Civilians, Army Officials and other prominent members of civil administration.
The initiative taken by the Army was well received and appreciated by the local populace.
The Army on its part has assured the local populace of continued co-operation to assist in alleviating their problems.
