Jammu, Dec 5: Rich floral tributes were paid to Madam Tara Puri, the great educationist on her birth anniversary by the teaching faculty and the management staff teacher in a memorial ceremony organized here today. They also remembered the former Chief Minister Shiekh Mohd Abdullah which also falls today.
School secretary Ram Lal Sharma of S D Tara Puri Public High School paying rich tributes to late soul recalled her achievements in the field of education. The faculty also paid the great leader and former chief minister Sheikh Abdullah on his birth anniversary and paid him rich tributes. Jugal Kishori Puri also offered his tributes on this occasion.
Later the function was followed with career counseling of students from Class 9th and 10th by Tara Group of Institutes in which the students were given awareness about computer and IT. knowledge. The function came to an end with National anthem. Neeru Puri, the school Principal, coordinated today's programme.
