Jammu, Dec 6 : Two people, including an Army jawan, were killed and three of a family sustained injuries in separate road accidents across Jammu, police here said. An army personnel Vikas (26), resident of R S Pura, last night got seriously injured when his motorbike hit a pole near Jallochack area, police here today said.
The profusely-bleeding jawan was shifted to Government Medical College (GMC) and Hospital by some passersby but doctors declared him as brought dead. His body was handed over to the family members this morning after legal formalities for last rites. The deceased was on his way to home after attending a marriage party, police added.
Meanwhile, a youth Bunty (19), who got critically injured in an accident at Arnas area of district Reasi last evening, succumbed at a hospital here. In another accident, three members of a family suffered injuries when their motorcycle collided with a truck near Paloura on city outskirts. They were identified as Arvind Dogra (50), his wife Arpana Dogra and son Ayush Dogra (12), all residents of Jullaka Mohalla, Jammu.
