Jammu, Dec 5: Following a protest by some locals, a youth was lifted by Satwari police from his residence here in Gadigarh for duping people in lieu of providing them job in Hong Kong and other places abroad, police sources said.
As per police sources one Bhupinder Singh son of Joginder Singh was lifted after people held protest demonstration against him outside his residence. He was allegedly cheated several youths to the tune of lakhs of rupees on the pretext of sending them in Hong Kong for jobs, police said today. The questioning of the alleged accused was in progress in police custody. "No case in this connection was registered till late hours, police sources said.
