EJAC extends support to two day strike call on Dec 14

Jammu, Dec 5: Contin-uing its hectic efforts to garner support from employees, the Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) a conglomerate of various organizations, the senior JCC leaders addressed series of meetings for two day "Kamm Chorh Hartal" on Dec 14-15.
Speaking to media persons here at Jammu Mohd Gafoor Dar President Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) 3rd front flanked with spoke-sman JCC, Ganesh khajuria, S Kalwant Singh Senior JCC leader urged to the State Government employees, teachers PSUs workers and daily rated workers to observe complete strike on the above mentioned days to press the state government for implementation of the agreement signed in between the State Gover-nment and JCC leadership on 8th July, 2012. Speakers also highlighted that agreement was regarding various demands like enhancement of retirement age from 58 years to 60 years, regularization policy for all daily rated workers casual labours and ITI trained workers, removal of pay anomalies of clerical cadre and pre revised grade of 6500-10,500 and budgetary support to the public sector corporations for release of salary of the workers. The JCC leaders condemned the delaying policies of the State Government which has miserably failed to implement the agreement despite repeated assurances. They also informed that the demonstrations will be organized on 6th Dec. 2012 on Thursday, in front of Divisional Comm-issioner Office, Panama Chowk Jammu wherein the protestors will submit memorandum to the State Government through Div.com.
