| Teenager sets herself ablaze, one consumes poison | | |
Udhampur: A teenager (19) allegedly burnt herself to death at her residence in Marta , Tehsil Ramnagar, police sources said. Meanwhile one person allegedly made a life bid by consuming some poisonous substance in Sudhmahadev area. According to the report a girl namely Swarna Devi (19) D/O Vas Dev R/O Marta , Tehsil Ramnagar allegedly set herself a fire after pouring inflammable liquid on her. She was immediately shifted to Sub District Hospital (SDH) Ramnagar where doctors declared her as brought dead. "The reason behind this extreme step is yet to be ascertained. Meanwhile police registered the case under 174 RPC and further investigation goes on, Meanwhile one person consumed some poisonous substance under mysterious circumstances at his residence Karwalt , Sudhmadev , District Udhampur. Identified as Charan Dass (28) S/O Amroo R/O Karwalt sudhmadev was rushed to Sub- District Hospital Chenani after he allegedly consumed some poisonous substance, from where he was referred him to District Hospital Udhampur. After necessary mediacre the doctors referred him to GMC Jammu. Police registered the case and started investigation. |
